All by planting trees! Started in 2014, we have more than doubled the number of trees planted year over year. Though the connection isn't obvious, the way we currently raise animals for food is devastating our planet. For most people, reducing meat and dairy consumption is the most effective way to reduce our ecological footprint.

Eating more plant-based meals lowers demand for meat, dairy and eggs, which dramatically reduces animal suffering on factory farms around the world. As Lyn White puts it, "Since we can lead healthy, happy, fulfilling lives without harming those who share this world with us, why wouldn't we?"

A diet based around plants can help prevent a variety of diseases and promote good health throughout our lives. For athletes, plant-based eating can boost performance and speed recovery.

🧠 Mental Health

Plant-based eating appears to influence mental health positively and has been correlated with fewer symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and mood disturbance. It may also help prevent Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
